Growing up in a family owned floor sanding business, I inherited a passion for the wood flooring market. My father’s business started in the Chicago market but grew to expand into southern Wisconsin as my brothers struck out on their own. After 35 years, 25 spent running my own division of the family business, an opportunity arose in 2014 to develop new technologies for the flooring market. This drew my interest towards manufacturing. I’ve enjoyed the last 7 years working to develop products and concepts to help the flooring contractor with constantly changing demands of color and finish trends.
